Hey guys,

I just bought a UTG New Gen. Deluxe M14 Scope Mount from TSE for 35 bucks. I figure if it works - great. If it doesn’t - who cares.

Anyways, it mounts to the side as well as replacing the stripper guide; it also has a contact point (Alan key screw) on the forward end of the receiver.

It looks pretty solid and square to the receiver.

I've mounted a light weight scope (Aimpoint clone) since I think my Leopold clone would pound it to hard. - I hope it works.

My local gun shop tried to sell me the same UTG for 149 bucks. I came home and googled it and found it for as little as $28 (in the us though). It appears to be made by the same company as Leapers.
So much for trying to support the small local guys. I don't mind paying a little bit more but over a 100 buck, come on.

I think it's worth the low $$$ to try out for kicks.

Am wondering how other people have fared with this product? Looking forward to the torture test report.

I believe the Marstar version is very similar, except the UTG has a weaver rail and doesn't cost $89 plus tax and shipping.

i gave my sample to a friend who has it on a shorty with leopold clone rings and a bushnell elite 3200
still holding strong at 300 (+) rounds I am told..... will get another 200 to 300 within a week or so .... I'll report back

We try to run fair pricing across the board.

Still holding. I used loctite when I put it on, since then I've gone through about 3 X 140 round battle packs without a shift in POA.

well worth $35

My mount arrived and I have installed it.

Very solid fit all around, screw fits perfectly to my M305.

Looking forward to testing it out!

I got it for $35 from US.

I would get a proper IER (intermediate eye relief) scope for it so you can move it way forward and have access to load with a stripper clip.

This is my rig For the price the Bushnell halo site kicks ass I really like the ability to change between reticals when hunting or on the range. Larger scopes just add weight and don't always mean smaller groups. The m1 is not a sniper rifle. But a vary capable intermediate range to short range buck blaster.
