Uts 15

If you ordered it from Wolverine Supplies, first shipment is due in March, but the first shipment is filling up quickly.

Have you seen the Nutnfancy videos on youtube about the UTS15? Not trying to start anything...I think the SG looks cool...but it didn't perform too well in their review. I don't own one so can't say if they got a lemon or what...
 
From what I understand he had a US made version and the Wolverine ones are coming from Turkey. It looks like a weak extractor spring. The ones we have as samples are working flawlessly and we plan on making a video as soon as the weather straightens up and we have a little time.

Nutnfancy is a kel- tec and condor pusher, cant blame him have to pay the bills. So anything in the same cat as those two sponsors gets a shat review.

Nisser... I dont think Nutn performed a bias review of the UTAS.. that thing just failed time and time again. He said hes willing to revisit it once the problems were fixed.. there were a number of things he did like about it too.

But all in all the unit he had, failed miserably. and he says as such in his videos... that he can only comment on the unit that he has.
 
What do you guys think about ordering the accessories like the light and laser @ 210 $. Is it worth it ?
Also,What about the front and back sights. ?
I already have some flip up mbus sights in my spare parts box, but there not made for a shot gun ?
So maybe one is better off buying the sights that are designed for the UTS15 ?
 
The utas sights aren't anything special, they just have a larger "globe" style front sight post.
I put an eotech on mine, which suits it well.
Anything like an aimpoint, vortex strikefire, etc. tends to chew the plastic rail up after a while due to recoil. The small footprint of a single 30mm ring mount doesn't spread the load out over enough of the rail.
The light and laser is worth it.

Thank you ntm. Do you have any ideas on where one could purchase a steel or aluminium rail to replace the plastic one ?
 
Hey ntm , there is a lot of negative reviews out there on this shotgun. To be fair I think it is about 50 / 50 negative to positive .
( most of the really bad ones seem to be on the us made models)
How has your UTS 15 been performing for you ?
And , is it made in the US or turkey?
I have a deposit on one of these also, so I am very interested in hearing more about why all the negative hype around this gun ?
 
I ordered one with all the toppings.. There is a thread in the Wolverine section with lots of info on the uts. Wolverine said these are totally different from the US made ones nutin was shooting, they also said they would stand behind these 110% so I ordered. If you dig really hard on you tube there are some vids of the UTS working great.

Why do you keep posting this crap? Maybe you are the one being paid?

Nutinfancy BLASTED kel-tec's old .22mag handgun (the name escapes me). He did the classic "run and gun" and the thing failed, then posted a review that it sucked. When the updated version came out a year later he re-reviewed it and the problems were fixed. This is the standard way he works. In a years time when the updated UTS hits the American market, I will put money of the fact he will re-review it and it will be positive. Not to mention, he was not the only You-tuber with issues.

I REALLY hope the one we are getting is fixed/updated/whatever, it looks like an awesome gun, but no way in hell I'm shelling out the cash until we get some reviews from fellow nutz.
 
Mine came out of the us imported by prophet river.
The first one I had was built on a friday for sure. The barrel was misaligned in the reciever, and one of the barrel attachment lugs broke in the first 2 dozen rounds.
Utas was very good with getting me a replacement quickly, which has been 100% solid. Over 1000 rounds through it now.
So qc is spotty, but their customer service was excellent...
I purchased it for three gun, which it dominates at.

Really....? The Remington versamax is $1300, beretta hunting shotguns are $1800ish.... benelli's can be 2000ish, KSG $1000 but your more likely to find a unicorn before a KSG. The UTS 15 is $1400, so I think it's in line price wise for what it is. That's my un-professional opinion anyways :p
