Uzkon BR99 shotguns

They are already in Canada being sold since December according to another sponsor. Maybe another name?

Sold? Or being shipped? Big difference.

Either way, the RCMP lab hasn't published the FRT for any Uzkon shotgun, either pump or semi auto. Last checked 10 minutes ago.

The FRT number given by that other sponsor for the BR99 doesn't return a published FRT either.

Sooooo does anyone have these in stock, or are they just all at the distributors and everyone is just waiting for the run around to end?

A quick Google search found these Shipping from another dealer. WTF people am I the only one that knows how to internet? Lol

I have just been notified from our supplier that there was a similar high cap Turkish shotgun
that had a magazine which would fit into the BR-99s. For this they have sent over propietary mags
and mag catch to swap on the few we have in store. This is done so that they can be safeguarded from
reclassification.

As for the shipment inbound of other models, they have already installed the upgrade for safeguarding

Magazine capacity does not affect firearm classification.

What the magazine was designed and intended for limits set the magazine's capacity. Modifying a gun does nothing to change what a magazine was initially designed and intended for.

Speaking of classification, the FRT has still not been published yet for the BR99. Classification is not yet been made public, meaning the lab has not yet made their determination public.

Well that I can't confirm or deny. They are being distributed and shipped accross Canada from the distributor. The first 2 we were sent initially came with original mags. The distributor
has shipped out a conversion and propietary mags . Every other unit is being done before shipping to us.

I would hope as a retailer you could confirm whether a firearm you are selling has a published frt or not.

Either as a verifier, or by making a phone call to the firearms lab via the CFC number.

NAS provided the frt number. Querying it on the FRT sight reveals no information. Calling the CFC and having then run the number reveals no entry viewable to them.

So... classification is not yet publicized by the lab. TW says it is non restricted, but they aren't the authority or final say in the matter.

It appears you are very well versed in this whole issue from what TW has told me lol

Just got off the phone, they are legal and FRT# is in the system but not visible on the public site. FRT# will be updated in 48 hours time.

In the meantime buy all you want.
