V22upper problem

Your firing pin clearly don't come back . Firing pin stick in the grease or Broken firing pin . Clean first , and never dry fire a .22 .

I am going to tear the bolt apart tomorrow to see what is up. It seems flush with the bolt face on the firing end but it is aso flush on the back end it like it is about 1/16 to short overall. It has never been dry fired and it doesnt leave a mark on the rim with a cartridge in it.

I have had similar problems with the one I got,it would seem that CZ missed the mark on this one.

do you have a fix that you could share /w Helno?

its too bad, a new unit would behave like that, i have a DPMS upper from TSE, and its been functioning perfectly so far... (yes, i know they are made in different countries and differ in price...its just nice that they go bang everytime)

Get set for some serious fun with our new AR-15 .22 LR conversion! Make no mistake, this is NOT the cheap “blowback bolt and insert kit” offered by others (please read our warning about those): ours is a purpose built, precision machined assembly that replaces your entire upper, thus eliminating the problems experienced with discount-priced “kits” that use your existing upper and .223 Rem. / 5.56x45mm barrel.

I looked one of these over and I can say the painted finish and brutal machining makes Norinco look like a first rate manufacturer.:)

New problem.

I replaced the hammer trigger and disconnector.

Now the Upper fires but it doubles. The rifle occasionaly fires a second time when the trigger is released and the hammer goes from the disconector to the sear.

Anybody got any thoughts on how to fix this? it does it even without the upper on the lower.

Are you using stock parts? Did you install an adjustable trigger? Sounds like you've got too little reset and you are just barely catching the disconnector.

Yeah the parts are stock nothing fancy about them. I tried putting the norinco disconector in and it catches but never lets the hammer go until you push it down with a punch.

With the availability of cheap uppers out there, I feel (imho) you should just get an regular upper and put a conversion kit in it. This is what I have done, and no probs, 14.5 M4gery barrel w/a3 upper, and I almost always use my atchison .22 conversion bolt in it. I leave the my Colt HBAR alone however.

I have a 20 inch 5.56 upper and hte twist rate is close as it is a 1 in 12 barrel. But I wanted the shorter barrel and the better accuracy. Right now the problem is the lower but once I get that fixed I should be good to go.
