I've picked up a parts Webley MkVI for a project (this is not a good functioning revolver at this time). The cylinder happens to be broad arrow marked and is unshaved and in original .455 Webley. My project might involve me reaming and shaving the cylinder to take 45 win mag brass on moon clips. Would I be better off selling/trading this unshaved cylinder for one that has been shaved already so that someone can restore a good condition MkVI to .455?

I might run .455 but the gun needs a lot of work and and I have a mkII in similar need of repair so I'm considering combining the mkII frame with the better parts from the mkVI. I might be interested in pursuing larger capacity casings hence the 45 win mag brass of Scofield brass, more gas volume for the same pressure (hand loaded not factory). I also have a nice commercial mkVI in .455 so I have at least one that shoots the original round already.
