Hi Guys

Have a beautiful professionally restored 1906, dated 1919, takedown. Looks like a new barrel, Tasteful engraving on the stock. A real sweet gun. A friend of mine wants to sell it but I have no idea what its worth. Thoughts.

With nothing original on the gun...I would consider it a curio and value it at between $150- $250.

I'd say that 150 - 250 may be a little light for this rifle, but certainly no where near what some fellows think that they are worth because they saw something similar on an American web site. But I'd think that you could get in the neighborhood of $400.00 for it with out too much trouble. FS

I never look at any USA site for pricing. I go by what I see and the originality of the gun. As unique as it is, quite nice really, it is no where near the original quality of collectability. Nothing is original at all. I would rather pay the $400 for an original shooter that is suitable for hunting in the bush. my $0.02 worth.
