Value? Marlin 1894 .22 mag

Not certain of this rifles value? It is a model 1984 (not 39) lever action in .22mag. Has anyone seen them in .22 mag and what it sold for?

How rare is this model? Does anyone know production numbers?

Condition is original, very good to excellent condition.

I had one of these Marlin 1894 in .22 mag. Mine was also in excellent condition. I sold it 3 years ago for $800. They are hard to find.
I actually didn't like the gun......seemed so bulky and clumsy/clunky for shooting the diminutive little .22 WMR!

They bring an easy $1000 in any kind of condition. My last one sold for $700 here on the EE a few years back. Probably could have held out for more but let it go anyways. The last one at Gagnon Sports brought a grand quickly if I remember correctly.
