I'm trying to find out what 357 & 38 Special brass should cost to buy? Are they normally sold in 100 or 1000 lots?
I have run across about 5000 and am wondering what it is worth.
Regards, Henry

Is it once fired?

Generally speaking, once fired Federal or Winchester .38special brass [not nickel] is worth about C$30.00-C$40.00 per thousand. Remember, that is once fired brass.
Not once fired, but multiple fired mixed manufacturer brass is worth less.
Should you come across some brass in a hundred pack, most guys will want a little more money, say four or five bucks a hundred.
357 mag brass is in the same price range.

New or fired? $17-$20 bucks per 100 at Wholesale for new... pretty steep IMO. Uhh... that was from 05/06 catalog, not really any difference between .357 and .38 brass. CanadianBDX sells used (reconditioned) .357 at the rate of $75-$90 per 1000. Hope this helps, cheers
