Value of a Browning Auto 5

Depends.

Fixed choke 2 3/4 inch? Belgian or Japanese?

Magnum with invectors?

All these matter. A 2 3/4 inch Belgian with a fixed full choke is not desirable for waterfowling for example.

A Japanese magnum with screw-in chokes suitable for steel would probably earn more.

Look at the EE. I don't know if they actually sell for the asking price there though. Some guys really itch to own a 20 gauge and particularly some of the 16 gauge Browning A5 shotguns.

I got a 1964 A5 2 3/4-inch with a 28-inch barrel for $150 a couple years ago.

NOT safe for steel shot, as per Browning. Around the $500 ballpark, if that. Oh, and the engraved name will kill that value some more. Unless it's Elvis or somebody famous.
