I have a 12 gauge o/u Classic Doubles with screw in chokes and 28" barrels.
I bought it used in the UK, brought it with me 9 yrs ago, and have maybe shot 2 boxes of shells out of it since. It's in pretty good condition, which is why I have used my Winchester pump beater a lot more.
I need to come up with some quick cash so I'm wondering what this o/u is worth. Your thoughts?

It's got a couple of very minor marks, but it closes like a safe.Very solid gun, I believe it's a Marocchi Winchester copy?

If it is a Marocchi the Italian proof marks will make its origin clear.
Classic Doubles 101 and 201 were Japanese Kodensha products, imported by an American importer, after Olin Winchester stopped importing them.
Essentially a Winchester 101, not branded Winchester, would sell at a significant discount, not unlike Charles Daly imported Miroku shotguns.
My guess at a realistic selling price would be around $750, or so.

OK, thanks. I hate to part with it because it's the best fitting, most natural pointing shotgun I've ever owned.
It sits in the rack waiting for the sporting clays that I'm never going to get to shoot.
I put an offer on a house today, if it's accepted there's going to have to be some hard hearted decisions made.
