Value of a Colt 1911A1 Government Model

If you have a 1944 Canadian Contract Colt 1911A1 (one of 1,515) with all the appropriate markings ie: Canadian Broad Arrow markings in 2 places it could fetch as much as $3,000 depending on the condition and originallity of ALL parts. Other wise if it is a "plain jane" Colt with mix master parts, you might get $800.00 for it depending on condition.

Pictures are everything include all markings on slide, frame and pistol barrel.

The pistol is not a Canadian contract Colt, but definitely not a "plain Jane". It shows all the proper markings and, as I already said, is in excellent condition.

I will try and post pictures soon.
