I hope no one hates me for this, but I inherited some guns. What I got was a new unfired 1974 Colt Python in a nickel finish. I also got a S&W 125th anniversary revolver in 45 cal that came in a very nice wooden box, Luger artillery model that's dated 1917 with a 8 inch barrel, Walther P38, and a Colt New Service model in .455 Eley.

Does anyone know more or less what the value of these guns are?

Thanks,
Frank

I have personally seen these guns, and can now say that I do in fact hate you

What Frank forgot to mention is that these handguns are all original; in excellent to mint condition; and classified as restricted (not prohibs).

Lucky bastard :D

I think the S&W in 45 is worth about two hundred bucks, send it to me right away and I'll pay you as soon as I get it. I've already got a python c1957;)

It's nice to inherit guns... I once got a Rem 700 .30-06, Rem 870 12 ga pump and a Savage 99 .30-30 full octagon rifle. Another time an original Win 1886 Saddle Ring Carbine .45-70 [only 5,000 ever made]; a Win '73 rifle in .44-40 and an old Win 1894 .30-30 rifle. Nice somebody was thinking of you... ;)

You don't really want that Python

You don't really want that Python I think you should just send it to me and I will make sure it goes to the correct place

I paid 500 bucks for my colt python .357 nickle and safariland grips and a few hundred rounds of .38 dont know if thats what their worth but thats what i paid for mine

Good to hear their is much interested in the two guns, but if I sold them my wife would kill me. They belonged to her uncle,so I have no choice. Maybe someday I will.:D

Artill. luger, all matching numbers, no recond., excell. cond. $ 3500, Python $1200, Smith $1100, (values for the revolvers are low end values, only based on similar sales at store.)
