Value of a E grade lefever

Perchased this gun years ago from a 70+ year old gentleman, the story behind the gun is the gun belonged to the mayor of Kitchener ontario when kitchener was called Berlin, he told me that there is a picture of the mayor holding this gun on the steps of city hall. I have never researched this so don't know if it is true. Any how I have someone interested in purchasing this gun an need to put a value on it. As far as I know it is all original.

A very fine example of Uncle Dan's automatic double, cocking indicators and all. If your gun is all original and the take up screw, for wear, is still reasonably backed out to original position, your LeFever could be worth some serious money.

As Bob suggested, join the LeFever Forum and do your research. The guys on there will be tickled pink to see it. Also, the Double Gun Forum is another venue of knowledge.

If it were mine, and in original condition, I don't know if I could bring myself to sell it. That's a very nice looking leFever.
