Hello all,
Question, what would the going rate be for a Canadian Arsenal 2 groove Lee Enfield barrel, '43 production, still in the grease wrap?
Thanks in advance,
Not an expert.....BUT....these barrels are becoming more difficult if not impossible to find. The two groove is not the optimum but it is what is available. I recently bought a used barrel in excellent plus condition for $125.00 and now feel I may have paid too much....I would jump at the 2 groove at $200.00 ............Dave
I suppose the question is, "What would you do with a brand new '43 2 groove barrel?" If you had an otherwise fine '43 LB, how much would installation of the barrel enhance the value of the rifle? If the barrel was being used to restore a bubb'd rifle, would the cost be reasonable considering the value of the rifle when restored?
I have a new in the grease BSA made 5 groove No.4 barrel waiting for a bubba'd 4T to surface. Its sitting waiting beside the brand new Enfield hammer forged 7.62mm No.4 target barrel.
