value of a mark 4

hi

i have an older mark 4 its a straight 16 power with a target dot and has 150 moa of elevation 30mm tube,its in very good shape.it is much beefier made scope then the mark 4 of today, i am wondering what the value is??

I paid 800 not too long ago for a 4.5-20 30mm.

A quick google search shows prices for a new one to be around $1500 in the US, assuming it has the target turrets,etc.
You could probably ask around $1000 depending on age/condition but that's a pretty specialized scope so I wouldn't expect to be flooded with PM's.

i compared it to a new mark 4 and i must say the new ones are nowheres near the scope that i have,the clicks are not as stiff and the housing is not as beefy i would not by a new mark 4 i think they are the same as a vari x3 but with different turrets.

I sold my 16X MK4 for $950.00 5 years ago....................Since it is a fixed power scope, you will probably have to wait for the right buyer to come along...........GLWS!!!
