I must have either been under a rock or something as I just noticed the price of SMLE's has skyrocketed - there is one on the EE for nearly $1200. I thought $400-$550 was where the market was. Wish I had bought more back in the day rather than bloody NorTel shares LOL !

Not going to lie, if they are climbing, and if Rosses and Garands and Mosin PUs do too it won't hurt my feelings other than to slow the number of future purchases some. I like making good investments!
The one in question does look quite nice. The butt disk recess makes me kind of wonder though, I'd investigate further if I was buying it as all matching and all original. I guess it could have been an older butt being utilized though. Price is a bit scary though for a common manufacturer! Also doesn't show if the mag is a numbered match, mismatch or unnumbered.
