I know they don't make this rifle anymore. Does anyone know what the current value would be if I were to sell it. It is in excellent condition and had seen approximately 40 rnds through it. Would also include scope rings and bases. I just picked up another rifle in the same calibre and I am toying with getting rid of this one, even though I said I never would!!

Book value or actual what-you'd-get-for-it value? I rather suspect the book value would be higher as this is probably one of the more rare chamberings. I don't think you'd have much trouble getting $700 or so, and you could probably get a bit more if you're not in a hurry to sell it

Anyway on Model 595 pricing.... I paid $450 for my used/excellent Tikka 595 blued/synthetic in .308 Win plus another $50 for a spare mag... maybe I got a super deal?

Well, I prefer the whitetail hunters (m595 and m695) over the T3's, but then again...that's just me. For the anti-Tikka types, or the Tikka lovers, here's an article:

I am replacing it with a Remington 700. Not even comparable but the Tikka is so nice I would hate to scratch it up when I am out shooting hogs.
