value of a Winchester 94 in .307

I am trying to find the value on a Winchester 94 in .307. The rifle is in 99% condition. It was my friend's father's last rifle purchased and there has not been a complete box of shells put through her. I tried auction arms and gun broker and they had one in the $800 range, but that is the States. So, whats she worth? Thanks Dave.
 
In Canada, probably $400-$450. Gunbroker prices are wacked. Plus the .307 has not exactly been a howling success and ammo can be hard to get at the usual outlets.

i have one that was bought in the mid eighties.
it works well for its intended purpose.
their value is dependent on what you will let it go for as it is an heirloom.
 
You may get more then that if you hang on, because people are looking for that cal. and it's litter mate the .356, find the right buyer and i think that $500 is reasonable.

I have one of these in excellent condition and I have about 100 factory rounds to go with it. Considering the bullets are $2 a pop, and I also have a scope and rings for it, this package is worth about $900.
I am not selling mine, but I keep an eye on the market and the gun by itself is worth about $450 - $500.
