I can't seem to find any infos available on the value of a Zastava M70A , the model with the safety on the side.

I know theses model are pretty common in th U.S. but they seem to be pretty rare and hard to find here in Canada. I was wondering why and if it makes them more expensive.

Here's a link to the actual gun

Thanks a lot fellow CGunners !

Not required for Canadian import because the half #### safety and common sense is all you need. The safety on the slide has to be added by the manufacturer on later models and by the importers on earlier models to satisfy some weird concerns by American law makers. Personally, I have one with the added safety which you will not come across in Canada and one without which you will not come across in the States and I can tell you that the safety mechanism on mine is a hack job. Must be one of those early models.

I much prefer the Canadian, non safety added m70a because aside from the grip being a bit longer to accommodate 9mm, it is true to the original design. At a glimps, from the corner of my eye, I can't tell my m70a from any of my other Tokarev's. Why are you searching for the model with the added safety? Anyways, I bought these two from the company that everyone on this forum love to bash (m******) about five or six years ago, new for something like $200 each. How much are they worth now, I have no clue?

I’ve seen them on the EE for $300 to $500 but you should be able to get a really nice one for under $400. As Geraldtao said, any I’ve seen here have no slide safety, mine doesn’t.
