Good day, I am hoping to tap into the air rifle knowledge on this site to put a value on a rifle.

I am looking to put a price on an Air Arms Pro-Sport .22 cal Air Rifle with the walnut stock. This is a very high end rifle made in England and not seen often here in Canada. The condition is mint, just like new and I doubt it has been fired 100 time. Sorry I am not able to post pictures, but it looks just like the one on the website.

Is there a market for this expensive an air rifle here?

Thank you, WK

There's definitively a market for quality airguns in Canada... But most of the guys (and gals) I know who are OK with spending over $1K for a airgun, buy them to play a specific game.

Whether it be 10M, Field Target or Benchrest.

Don't have a clue about Pro-Sport in .22

which model is it

under 12 foot pounds or the 17 foot pounds

the under 12 might be used for field target but I think those folks use the 177 a ,to more than 22 cal

not sure on value but not that popular from what I know, which is quite limited

the 177 model might have been easier to sell

just saw the video on AAwebsite and it does not appear to have the bear trap safety

also some guys complain the cocking mechanism hurts your hand as it is quite squareish and not rounded

never having owned one cannot say for sure
very nice looking guns just not as popular as the other cocking models

even though newish, you, will not get top dollar for,it and I,will defer to the resale experts for that value,

hope you are not in it for much

I am looking for aAA springer but would it get that model as can’t use it for ft very easily

good news is since a 22 cal the guy buying it will want to pay for a nice gun and not worry about the differences a Underlever springer might have
