I was wondering what a 10 Gauge SxS AyA in decent condition would be worth. A local gun shop has one and I am kind of interested in it. I would like to use it to hunt geese. It would to be reamed? to accept steel shot and I was told it would cost around $50 to do it. Does that seem reasonable? All I have is an 870 remington super magnum express and would like to make the step into the world of fine shotguns.

thanks

In my humble opinion....

You would be further ahead to stay with the 870. Side by side....two shots, heavier to lug around...much more expensive shells...will never shoot any better patterns than a 3 1/2" twelve guage. Dave

X2 - Ream job's (that didn't sound right) usually cost between $40 & $50.
