All,
A good friend of mine just came into position of an Iver Johnson 22 Supershot Sealed Sight, 8 shot revolver with wooden (walnut?) grips and a Pachmayr Grip 'filler'. He is wondering what the value might be?

The condition looks good, there is a little ware on the left hand side of frame (see 3rd pic below), and a little ware at the end of the barrel, about a 1/4 inch.

Thanks

I've been watching the sale of a few IJ break tops over my short time of gun buying. They seem to list for between $150 and $180. At that price they seldom make it through a single weekly bump without being sold. So if he wants to sell it pretty quick then list for around that price. If he's a bit more greedy :D and patient list it for the low to mid $200's with an OBO add on. And these prices would be in consideration of the condition as shown. At least this is one opinion.

From what I've seen the grip filler being there doesn't add anything to the value.

I think B.C. I fairly close- I would think you may get 200,
but that would be about it .
If the timing is good, these are good guns- thou a S-W
model 17 it aint.
My question to you is how the hell do you get your name
on the pictures like that- neat.
Keep in mind I can do email and play cards on a computor:redface:

Thanks BC and Marsall,
I use a program from google called Pisasa, it has a water mark tool.
