Value of Bausch and Lomb Elite 4000 1.5-6x 36mm

Hello, I am curious how much would a used but in a pretty good shape Japan made Bausch and Lomb Elite 4000 1.5-6x 36mm would fetch these days? I find the lens really clear and bright. It seems to be very well built. Adjustments are smooth and and feel solid.

I don't think Leupold will warranty it.

If I didn't have one already I'd probably want one enough to pay $250.

Trace can probably fix them, but it's a Bausch & Lomb Elite 4000, I think the lifetime warranty is covered by Bushnell.

aaahh....no...I do like it. I find the glass very clear and bright compared to anything else I have and I don't have anything fancy. Couple of Nikons, Burris, Leupold and older Redfield.

I got it as part of a package deal along with a 22 rifle. I suppose the seller didn't truly know what the scope was so given that it may fetch around $250, this was a sweet deal.

good to know. Thanks! But you must be thinking along "brand new in box" condition? mine is used, in good shape but has faint ring marks and one or two very faint scuffs on the bell.

I have a couple of them, under appreciated by most. They are tough and have very good glass, sight them in and done. I think they’re a better scope than the 1.5 - 6 Leupolds I have just 4 oz heavier. Should be more than the $250 you can buy them for if you can find one for sale.

I own a few of them. Have them on medium bore boomers generally, 340 wby, 8 Rem Mag etc. They are good scopes in that job. - dan

I've had a couple in the past and liked them but this scope needs to be lighter in weight for a specific rifle. I have a Leupold 1.5-5 here that will be fine.
