Value of factory stock?

stocks

Depends on what model they are: carbine: wood or synthetic, full length mannlicher, youth compact, rifle (RR), target?..... Carbine wood or synthetic are dirt cheap - $15-30 for a new take off, mannlichers are pricey as they aren't made anymore ($100 and up), youth and RR model I have sold for $50 and $40 shipiped, most target ones are around 70-85. Hope that's a ballpark for you.

Carbine wood or synthetic is what I'm after. So new take off+ $15 to $30, what about good used? I don't want to experiment on my boat paddle, so I figured I could pick up an unwanted stock fairly cheap. Thanks for the help gentlemen.

I have my eyes on the E&E, in fact I put a WTB ad. I've had a bunch of responses, but wanted to confirm what they're worth before I make offers. Now I have a good idea what would be reasonable. Beergut is it the boat paddle(old style) or the new style? Thanks for the help,

Rob

Last walnut one I bought had some nicks and dings, I think it was about $60 shipped. A new take off one I would pay $75 for. Some of the older wooden carbine ones from the 60's and early 70's are walnut and have some collector appeal, I would think they are in the 50-75 dollar range.

Beergut, the old style stocks say ruger and have the eagle emblem on the side of the butt. The new ones are a normal gun stock. I found a stock from a local CGN member, but if you have the old style synthetic I would be interested.
