Value of M1?

I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what a M1 30 cal carbine is worth. Its in great condition. It doesn't have the bayonet, but Id like to find one.

go to the milsurp forum and ask this question. They'll want to know the maker, (should be stamped on the back of the reciever behind the rear sight) the serial number, and they really need pictures to give an estimate. There is a sticky link in the photo gallery forum telling you how to post pictures.
