The topic of "how much is it worth" and the EE was discussed by the moderators some time ago. It is obvious that some members abuse such valuation threads, using them to promote items which they are selling. Promotion of sale items outside the EE is discouraged. Some members try to run auctions when advertising an item, also discouraged.
If there is a valuation thread, and the item subsequently appears in the EE, the thread may well be removed.

The country may be free, however this board is a privately held entity. If its rules and norms do not appeal to you, there are other options of which you are free to avail yourself.
Well,I'd prefer to see an item valued correctly for its condition,history..etc etc. Don't like seeing people getting ripped off by not knowing the price range of an item they have for sale,..nor do I care much for price gougers trying to rip people....A number of members here have the correct knowledge of valuing an item that others do not..Advice is free...
