Value of Mossberg 800CV ?????

I have a Mossberg model 800CV in 22.250 cal with heavy " bull " barrel.I can't find it in the blue book and would like to know it's value.It will never be for sale as I got it through the police as my cousin was charged with a few things and can't own firearm's for a few yrs because of this so I'm holding it till he gets his permit back.Gun is reg in my name now.

I would check with the Mossberg collectors at Havilin Sales and there are a couple of Mossberg collectors on this board (Yanick comes to mind).

As a guideline there is a posting in the EE forum for a Mossberg 810 in .30-06 that is at $525 asking price. I think that this is a little rich but it does have an OBO on it.

Manufactured from 1968-1980

exc $260 to Good $180 ( US currency )

As for Canadian value its probablt not much different and these values may not reflect what the market would pay today
