My buddy is offering me a Nagant (carbine) stock that I could sell on CGN, not sure what the value is. It is in almost new consdition with one or two minor marks, come with bbl bands and bayonet as well as original sling.

This thing really is like new.

Do you know if it's an M38 or M44 carbine? (is there a cutout on the right for a folding bayonet?)

I don't suspect they're worth much right now, you can buy the entire rifle for well under $200.

For that particular stock I figure 40$s would be fair, but selling it on the net also incurs S&H charges which I think makes it harder. I would have dropped 40$ on it when I saw it anyway. Would have preffered to drop that stock on the 1891, and bought the 1891s stock instead, mind you.

One million dollars.

What happened to the rest of the rifle?

It was butchered into a "sporter". I nearly cried. Then I swore. It was a pristine polish M-44 "factory 11" (Radom).

Sigh.

Why don't people who want a cheap hunting rifle just go buy a Stevens 200?
