Value of Old Winchester Pump

My wife wants me to get rid of rifles I don't use regularly.

Two such rifles are 22s

I have a Winchester pump in 22 short. The patent dates on it are around 1900. Good shape, with a tang peep. last time I shot it I used it to win a offhand shoot match.


Also have a browning lever action. Very smooth action, excellent condition, nice wood. Made in Japan. Excellent build quality.

I have no idea of market value.

Hi Ganderite.
I've seen a few of the winchester 1890's in 22 short recently for 325-400$ both were described as shooters in good condition not mint or collector shape.
I'm in the market for something just like this , if yours ends up in the EE I would really appreciate a PM if that's not to much trouble.

Research that win pump carefully, it may be a so called "gallery gun" and may be worth more than you think. Don't get your hopes up but if it is a model 62 it can be worth north of $1000 with the right pedigree.
