Looking to sell my S&W 657-2 in 41 Mag, gun is in excellent condition and has a 6.5" barrel. I have been away from handgun scene for a while and wonder what it would be worth now. Thanks in advance.

.41 Mag has become a bit obsolete with the 10mm being more available and the 44 Mag being more powerful.

Brass is not as common, nor the projectiles. Value? Hard to say. Smith's hold value well, but the caliber might limit it's appeal.

Some of us love 'em though... Some more details useful e.g. Full lug or semi, with box, is it the Lew Horton with the combat grips?

Reality is that the market is generally sof right now, but you might hit that buyer if it is a rarer model. Could fetch from 800 to 1200 depending.

There are fans of the 41 Magnums. Since there's few 57/657's out there (and a new Model 57 Classic goes for $1300), if you found the right buyer you could get a lot of money.

I can only find one 657 that has come up in online Canadian gun auctions. It was a mint (unfired) 8" 657-5 that went for $1100 + auction fees back in 2016.
