Hey
A local widow called me with this question and I had no answer. Could some of the Swedish/ military guru's chime in on this rifle.

Carl Gustafs 1910 in 6.5x55 with full wood in very good shape. cleaning rod present as are the sling loops. Brass insert in clean and easily read. Rifle is in very good overall shape. Serial #269###. I am waiting for pics to come and will post or email them as I get them. keep the info coming. This rifle will be for sale in the future just not right now. later,HD

I paid $350 earlier this year for a similar one (1916 GC VG cond., matching) from one of the web retailers.

The M96 seem to go in a fairly narrow price range - $250-$400 in my experience.

With these guns, all matching (and I mean every marked part), and VG+ condition with excellent bore is expected and if not all there, seriously affects value. Premiums are paid for rare years (e.g. pre-1900 and post 1918), manufactured by Oberndorf, exceptional wood and a Range Plate present.

That's a common year and manufacturer - I'd say it would top out at $300 on the CGN market, but the pics will tell a fuller story.

Price range is around $300 to $400 range, More if it has accessories, less if it is not matching serial numbers, look like crap, etc.
