My friend got a pair of bb guns given to him, and he's clueless about the value... i know nothing about air guns so i figured someone around here could help.

The guns are a swiss arms 357, and a tangfolio cz clone.

The tangfolio appears to be a tangfolio gold custom. It has a rail on top and a little handle on side for cocking. It is missing the magazine.

Google tells me these retail for about $100 and $150 each respectively. Is that accurate? Is there much of a used market for these? If so, what might they sell for?

Magazines for the Tangfolio were half the price of the gun and very hard to find..don't know if this holds true today. Your valuation of the retail
seems reasonable perhaps on the low side.

For a prospective buyer the gun with magazine, fully functional would sell for about 70% of its value new, from comparisons with other steel GBB bb guns.

IMO there is a big problem with the potential sale, without the magazine, and knowing what they cost, and the possibility of them being hard to find and require shipping, added to the fact one is purchasing the gun without being able to test it's function (even a LNIB gun can have a host of problems.. ALL of mine have) then one would be better to look elsewhere.

Untested, one would have to devalue the used price of the gun by the cost of the mag and potentially a full service..and you are in the negatives.

It's also possible a prospective buyer wouldn't consider these factors and you may get 50% or so for it.

So then the revolver is probably worth $60-70, and the tangfolio $80? But the tangfolio might be a hard sell without the mag, and trying to find a mag won't be any easier?
