Value or info on Cooey Model 70 .22

Hi I have an opportunity to get a .22 Cooey Model 70.

I've yet to see it, but I've been told its a single shot rifle with a longer heavy barrel that has the outside dimension of a 30 cal barrel.

Tried some googleing but can't find much info on this model.

Any info / value of the rifle would be appreciated.

Sounds like a Winchester Model 70 with the barrel re-lined for .22 - but then, you just as much said that, didn't you?

i think the model 70 is centerfire???

could be a cooey model 75. they generally go for $50 to $100 depending on condition

Sounds like a 75. $75-$100 is about right.

Could also be a Model 78 - mine has a long heavy barrel and the "8" could be confused for a "0".
