I have a friend who has a pre 64 lever action Winchester for sale. Sorry at this time I don't have the serial number handy. It is in 32 Winchester Special and is a carbine in great shape. Any ideas?

Unlike inflated CGN prices, dealer like epps and accuracy are ASKING 300 to 350. For 600 it better be unfired in the box. Afterall were not talkin a pre-64-70 were talkin a gun that there is 2 and a half million made!

There still are folks out there that believe that any Win made before 64 are worth more than the later models, lever guns included. FS

Condition , then the year of manufacture gives the value. But without pics, $300-350 is a good starting place for a regular carbine. Most are well used and are considered as shooters not collectors.. Rifles and Saddle rings are more coveted. 32 Cal. are being sought now as not as many were made as compared to 30-30 cal. The 25-20 and 25-35 are even more rare. 38-55 cal. have been on the want list for many years.

Not so sure about the 25-20 being avail. in a '94, but yes add about $100 for pre-64 and maybe a little more for any cal. other then .30 Wcf. If the gun goes back to the first 5 years of production, diff. ball game!
