Hello all,

I'm the proud new owner of one of these in 16.5 inch. It has a 3-9x40 on it which is too big and not what I need/ want. Can anyone suggest a scope @ $125 or less that would work for plinking, plates and targets up to 100 yards? I've always liked those UUQ tactical scopes off Amazon. Eg 1.2-6 x 24. Any ideas? Or used ones cluttering up the cupboards you might sell?

Thx!

You may be able to snag a Bushnell Ar Optics 1-4 used or on sale for around that price. Up to 100 yards a red dot would serve you well, unless you want precision. There are decent options in that price range, and it would keep the weight down.

Good suggestions thanks. I have a Redfield Counterstrike on my now prohib GSG 15 that I might try but the 4 moa dot might be a bit large. It's all fun.

Bush Banner 3-9s are everywhere. Likely 'Made in China' unless you find a really old one, but they would serve your purpose. Even a Tasco from CT would work, but a bit pricier than used Bush.
