Value target scope opinions?

So I have come in a bit of a circle. Having moved to country with very close shots, I got out of higher magnification variables for lower range variables.

I do require a dedicated target scope for a centrefire. Have three fixed Elite 10x40's on rimfires. Looking for target magnification range>>>>5-20x..ish. I will set a $600 limit, no Leupold or Vortex.

Thoughts?

Ended up getting a Bushnell 4200 Elite 6-24x50 30mm body, Moa/Mil dot.
Probably exactly what my OP was about. I am not really a target shooter, more a hunter and Reloading tinkerer. A ferry to get to a formal range. Game animals at bayonet distance.

Excellent choice I have two of these with the fine reticle. I wish I had bought more of them when they were available.
