I have come by a small collection and wish to thin out the closet. There are some nice pieces, but I have no idea how to go about getting a reasonable price to ask for them. I'd rather not pay an antiques evaluation fee if I can avoid it. Suggestions?

Best thing would be to post pictures. Some of the who object and maybe some closeups of actions ( if its a gun) or makers marks ( militaria ) desciption of condition as well or bore condition if its a gun.

Also, remember do you really want to sell them and if so, price accordingly. There are two prices: to buy and to sell.

Yeah pictures are the only way to go on gettin a decent estimate. The guys on here can definately help you out.
