Vancouver area gun shop tour?

I checked out west coast hunting today, the store is very new with limited selection. Cheap 9mm rounds, 90bux for 300rounds of "IPSC approved."

I dont remember exactly.. but it comes in a white cardboard box black and white print, and the rounds are in a plastic bag in the box.. not in the usual holders..

A few more to consider
.....................
Dlask Arms - smith and acessories
.....................
Suggest you google these names to see it they are worth you time
NO.
Dlask Arms is not a store, nor Disneyland.
It is a very busy machine shop. You cannot just drop in.
You need an appointment for a very specific and valid reason
to knock at their door.
For a multitude of reasons, they are not legally allowed
to give "shop tours" and sh!t like that to the "public".
My suggestion is to stay away from them.

GEEEEES Why don't you just bite my head off as well.............I did say look these companies up on the internet first before deciding.........

I read many people posting their disappointing experience with Lever Arms.

Well let us just say that the hired "help" aren't very helpful, but it depends on how you talk to them. My bud and I had very good experience with them when we went SKS shopping three yrs ago...just be nice to them (I know that is the challenging part)

BUT, if Ken the owner is there, talk to him. He is soft spoken, quite amiable and really easy to deal with. Ask for him by name if you can.

Now at Reliable, most if not all the people are good to talk with. My favorite all time gun salesman anywhere, any store, is Shane. Look for him at Reliable.

Haven't dealt with Italian in 10 years, but they were great to deal with at the time, no reason to suspect they aren't great now. In the Maple Ridge area, there is Wanstall's on Lougheed Hwy...another store with top-notch staff.

if you are looking for reloading supplies, my friends very happily deal with Henry Nierychlo of Budget Shooter Supply in Surrey.

And my own favorite reloading supplier is CustomAmmo in Maple Ridge (check out the Reloading Supplies sub forum). Been getting my supplies from them and so have my buddies since 2002. John and Brad are hard to beat when it comes to service quality, general firearms/reloading knowledge and stock availability. BTW, they also make/sell high quality remanufactured ammo.

Haha...just looked at West Coast Hunting's online store. Open the page to the Ruger Mark III 22/45. The bottom of the details and overview says 'Exclusive to Wholesale Sports'.
Looks like they did a Copy/Paste off the Wholesale Sports website. That should get them a phone call or two.

Drove by west coast hunting's storefront in richmond.

all boarded up...windows covered with paper. are they still in business??

Don't go to lever arms... Their service is soooooooo bad.
They don't seen to want to sell you anything and does not answer any of your questions.
I been to all the gun shops in Vancouver area and I would say lever arms is the worst one so don't waste your time there.

Unfortunately, he's absolutely right.

I talked to one of the employees and he said they moved.

Was just there today. They're still around. It's next to a Chinese restaurant on Odlin. VERY small shop, and bloody warm inside too. Apparently they've been open for about a year now. Extremely limited stock. They had handful of rifles, handguns. A few big gun safes though. Prices are not bad, not awesome either.

Definitely caters to Chinese shooters as the guys I spoke to didn't speak English very well, but were nice enough when I switched to Cantonese.

Overall, think I'll stick with Reliable and Italian... and Wanstalls when I'm in that area.
