Hi, I'm looking for a gunsmith in the Vancouver or fraser valley area that can do a small job for me. I have an aftermarket scope mount for my ruger 10/22 that is screwed to the receiver and the barrel. I need two holes drilled and tapped into the barrel. It's a GM stainless bull barrel that I don't feel like screwing up myself.
How much do you think is a fair price for this task? Can anbody recommend a good person to do this? There isn't a huge rush on it, but I don't want to leave it at the shop for a couple months either. Is one or two weeks a reasonable time to have it done?
