Vancouver Island 300 Meter MOA.....Who is in?

Have to run that past Maynard............

The original F(M)anufactured class concept would allow the only mass produced, off the shelf rifles. Must have the original stock , (but could be reshaped and bedded) and the original barrel in the factory chambering. In my MOA Challenge I don't care it the stock is original, just the factory barrel and chambering.

Going to go with your rules so its the same across the country then

What are times going to be and what's the plan for the 2 days? I may be around for the Saturday in the morning and would like to come out

conditions were breezy but here is 2 500 yard groups both shot with Savage F class rifles in 6br, I was using 90 grain bullets and John was using 105's, both loaded over varget in lapua cases.

Mine, 3.88 inches

John's 3.79 inches

It can be done, people just have to come out and prove it.
Both of these targets were shot in a match today on Vancouver Island

Yeah I know, he sure knows how to keep me on my toes from time to time.
I told him I was disappointed and that he needs to practice more.
I am not even going to admit what I shot with the other 6br and the 70 grainers, albeit still within the moa group but I got blown hard left on the first shot and managed to maintain myself to get the next 4 inside, the mear seconds between my sighter shot and my first for score/group was a entire new weather system I swear :D

I had a great time yesterday, but did not win any relays. After some a few moa adjustments with my new scope at 500 yards managed a 5 7/8" group and a score of 35. Would have been much happier to get all five shots under 5" but with my limited experience I am happy with that for now. Also forgot my two home made wind gauges out on the range that Greg gave me last shoot. See you next month. Cheers Roscoe
