Both team members shoot some matches at the same time and some matches one after another to allow for spotting. Team scores are both shooters scores combined.

Yes. You do not have to be a BCRA member. They will pair people up at the match as well.

The first 10 rounds at 500m will be indicated on the 4 foot target board with 3" orange spotting disks and shown to you after the first round and in groups of three for the next 9. I have never shot past 200m with the load I am going to use and am pretty sure while I will bleed some points in the first few rounds at 300 and 500m I will be finding my come ups pretty quick.

For those who have not seen a gallery range in operation. This is the conduct of a single indicated deliberate Service Rifle match on the Nanaimo military range.

I am running the precision match deliberates in the format of the deliberates in the US Army EIC (Excellence In Competition) course of fire. Which is where the three rounds between pulls and indication has come from.

Thanks for the follow-up - will be signing up today or tomorrow. 7:30 start, tho - ugh...

One more question: are all the match positions prone with bipod except as noted for #6 (sitting) and #7 (prone off elbows and sling)? Going to have to spend some quality time prone at the range beforehand...

Thanks (again)!

The first 2 rounds of Match 3 are shot standing.
Make sure your scope is far enough forward so you can shoot prone (and sitting, standing ect) as lots of people shoot only off the bench lots of people get caught, and scoped.

Huge thanks to the guys running this event, as always I had a blast and really enjoyed the event. The COF was challenging with the 1st and 2nd place teams separated by 7 points (1290 to 1283) and the top 6 people for individuals were within 75 points show just how close the competition was. It's a great testament how different people excelled on different stages.

A big congrats to Rob whom pulled off a perfect dots of doom!

Really hope these events continue, and have my figures crossed Will can host some more practice days again this spring/summer 2016 to go along with these great events.

Thanks for everything Will and it was nice seeing everyone out competing again.

That was why I left at 445, caught the last ferry from Duke point and am home. Lost my electronic ear muffs, but had a blast, happy I came out!
Would the scores be posted somewhere or?

I was bored on the ferry ride home, so I transposed it into an excel sheet on my phone. Let me know if I transposed any of the numbers wrong, it was late and I was tired.

This was a good and very challenging match. A big thanks to Will for running this and congratulations to April for the win.
My performance was not great on this one but it did identify weak areas for me to work on for next year, particularly offhand standing and getting rounds out quickly.

A big thanks to Will and Chris for their organization of the event and hard work during the day to keep it going. We had a lot of fun and look forward to attending again next year, maybe by then I'll have my mag issues worked out, LOL.
Also, thanks to Lockhart Tactical for their sponsorship of the event and the swag they threw in.

I'm glad everyone had fun, I know I did, and I was just helping in the butts! It was great to see folks coming from all over to do this match. Thanks to all who came out. Please come again next year, and bring a buddy. I may have to jump into this ring, too.

Cheers,
Chris
