Hey all...

I am looking for a retailer in Vancouver i can grab some tetra grease or some plastilube or... whatever works for My Norc M14... on a Friday AM before i head for the hills this weekend.

I will be passing through Squamish also, so if anyone there has an idea where to acquire the stuff let me know.

I am sure there is lots of discussion here regarding the best grease to use, but all i really need to know is where to get some in hurry in the Vancouver/North Shore/Squamish area.

Thanks All!!

I use the Canadian Tire snowmobile grease...

...It works well in hot summer weather and is supposed to be good all the way down to -50 (I've only been out with my rifle to about -20 and it worked perfectly.)

x2 It works great for me. In the heat or cold.

Another vote for cheap Cambodian Tire Wheel Bearing grease for $ 3.99 a tube that will last a hundred grease syringes that I sell at my clinics!! :D Don't pay attention to people who (the naysayers) warn of imminent #### loss should you not use aerospace, high speed, ultra lightweight, unobtainium embedded materials. Just use lots of grease! ;)

Thank you all for your kind answers!! I will try and stop at lever, failing that ill stop at can tire grab some snowmobile grease and pray my #### doesn't fall off!!!

been using vasoline for years. lot cleaner to use. also you can coat the gun when it rains and it is a lot cleaner to remove.

The best syringes for applying grease come from Lee Valley Tools

Curved-Tip Syringe product # 25K07.05

I'm using just regular grease but plan on switching to snowmobile grease for my hunting trip in November around the Loon Lake area.

You can get those curved syringes at any vet store as well. I've just been using white lithium grease from Canadian Tire on my norcs. :)
