Hi everyone,

Just checking to see if anyone would be interested to help me duracoat my CZ in the lower mainland. I do not feel confident doing it myself and would appreciate the help of someone who had experience doing it.

Would definitely make it worth your while! Mods, please let me know if this thread isnt appropriate here

thanks!

Hey hey,

I've read somewhere that under the enamel paint is a nice parkerized finish? Would that be better looking than duracoat? I'm not sure how the 2 compare?

BTW I'm a super-newb and just received my brand new CZ 858-4V in the mail today! Woohoo! I folded the stock and can't get it to open again...guess I need to press a button or something? Haha

How long have you had her? I'm lookng forward to shooting mine once the PoCo range is open again...

hi mambo,

i've had her only a short while
yes i've also heard about the parkerized finish underneath
i found a good quote today for duracoating the whole gun - 200$

Hey 3d,

Ha finally got the stock folded open again! The dang button is sooooo hard to push up sometimes!

Oh sweet good to hear you found a place (local?) to duracoat - are you able to share the info? I don't know too much about anything yet but $200 to do the whole gun sounds nice! They would still have to remove the enamel paint, correct? There was another thread regarding removing the paint with some chemical but the thread has since gone stale. I'd still would like to know what chemical that was...not that I would attempt to do it myself, hehe.

Keep us posted...would love to see the results =)
