Vanguard S2 finish

A member in our huntcamp says he gets a orange film of light rust on his and he's also got some light pitting, could be him and lack of care.I was wondering how easy the metal rusts on the S2, same finish as the remington 870? I know it's bead blasted but Figure I'd ask here as so many of the CGN family own the S2.

I have a few Vanguards, some blued some stainless, I have not noticed anything like that.

Blast and blue on the carbon Vanguard, semi polished blue on the Howas, Remington uses black oxide.
He just needs to oil it more, or store it in a dryer place.

Never had an issue with rust on my older blued Vanguard S2. I just keep a very light coat of oil on mine and it`s fine.
