i bought a new vanguard. i like the feel of it and it shoots alright. BUT the stock is too tight on the one side...you cant do the doller bill test. the left side is touching the barrel. do i take it back to wholesale sports to fix...or do i call weatherby.

Neither, they are not free floated from the factory. If you wish to free float you can take it in and pay for it or sand it out yourself. Though I would see how it shoots before free floating. Sometimes they shoot better with the pressure points.

just my personal experience, but i had the barrel floated on my 300 wby vanguard, and the groups tightened up about 1/2" at 100yrds.
