I have hornady eld match 147 grain for a 6.5 creedmoor that I have coming. Have plenty of varget powder I am wondering if this is fine or should I order something else.

I haven't tried any yet, as I'm still in the process of putting one together.

From what I understand tho, you want a little slower powder with a heavier bullet, and the 147 gr will be near that top weight for the creed. I have H4350 I'll be using in my 6.5 when I get there.

Not 6.5Creed, but my .260 was superbly accurate with 139/140s using Varget, but velocities were reduced. With slower powders, the accuracy was there along with higher velocities.
I suspect the same would be true with the Creed.

Photo seems to be missing a few pixels.

Max load at factory COAL 39gr Varget - 2732fps at the muzzle with 2437 Ft-Lb

Quick run down with GRT as I had it open already.

Use at your own risk. (Never start at max load.)

I get slow velocity if I use varget for projectiles over 130gr.
I tend to use varget for 120,123 and 130gr and then h4350 for 140-147gr. H4350 can be used with the 130gr as well
