Varget Vs. XBR (IMR8028)

Anyone have experience with the newer XBR powder in the 223rem and the 6mmBR?

The 6mmBR is for F-class and wonder if anyone worked with it or if Varget is still the go to for the 105VLDs?

I have been playing with xbr a little in .223, pushing 65 grainers. It isn't coming close to published velocities and it looks like I would have to load a full 2 grains over published max to get where I want to be. That is quite a bit in a small case and I haven't pursued it any further.

Hmmm...interesting results. Would the case be close to capacity?
