Varget

Higginson Powders near Ottawa has some if you want it bad enough to swallow the shipping. I got a 1# container from them last weekend.

I finally got my hands on some at LeBaron in Ottawa a month ago. They said I was buying the only 2 lbs they had left in stock. I've been on their small rifle primer waiting list since and I have not gotten a phone call yet...

roadwarrior,
drive up to Higginsons in hawkesbury. They had varget and primers last weekend. Ya sshould of told me I could of picked some up for you.

I just called Higginson today, they still have not received their small rifle primer order, but they did get some large rifle if I remember right...

Ahhhh Varget, the modern answer to H4831. It's good for so many cartridges and so forgiving.
Del Selin's in Vernon BC, has some, if you're in the area.

Del stocked up on a lot of stuff that is now getting hard to find. It won't last forever though.

I went into one of our very very few stores that sell powder around here, and purchased one pound no problem. Guess I should have gotten more of this miracle powder.lol I got good results with IMR4064 for both my 308 and 30-06 that I have not even tried any loads with Varget for this coming deer season. I guess I will have to try some soon.
