Varmint Grenades (243)

I have tried them , but not on anything big like yot`s . but hitting magpie sise targets is like hitting a feather pillow with a stick of TNT . 58 GR BULLET it is a beautiful thing to see in action .

they're so un-aerodynamic, its hard to want to try them when ballistic tips and vmax shoot so well and fly flatter/drift less at long range

I plan on trying some in my 6ppc this spring. Will let you know.

Have had decent success in my Hornet, they're now my go-to bullet for that cartridge. They have the speed of the 35 VMAX, and a 50% better BC to boot. It's odd that the 6mm's have such a poor BC; I'd normally expect them to be similar or slightly better than other 6mm bullets of the same weight (the lower density of the VG's means they're a bit longer; usually better for BC)

I just talked to a big yote hunter from s ont this w-end. he uses a custom 243 wsm. he uses ...calls them grenade bullets! says no damage to yotes fur. He shot a opened empty pop can with it & the can pretty much blew up

They're the "new" version of the Varminator (discontinued) with some blue color thrown in and a fancy higher price tag. 58 grainers flatten coyotes. They do what they're supposed to - blow up.

you're thinking of the VLC, since discontinued
