Well I bought some tips and loaded them with a starter load of 25gr of Varget, Win Small rifle primer. This is 1 grain below where Barnes says you can start. I only loaded 10 rounds as I wasn't sure how my rifle was going to handle the shorter OAL. Shot them at Gennesse yesterday, and there was some wind. These bullets performed very well group wise, around 3/8's, no one holes yet but with a little more powder on the next test loads, we'll see. These bullets for $21.00 per 100 seem almost like a best buy?
My best shooting load for the day was with 40 gr ballistic tips and 27 grains of Varget, a real nice one hole group with 4 shots. My rifle that I used is an HS Precision in the HB varmint thumb hole stock. FS
